Amelia Earhart Takes Flight!
On January 3, 1921, Amelia Earhart took her first flying lesson. Earhart received her lesson from instructor Neta Snook, using a dual-control Cannuck airplane. This plane was based on the famous World War I Curtiss JN-4 "Jenny." Earhart was 24-years-old at the time.
