Marconi Amazes World with Wireless Transmission

In 1901, Guglielmo Marconi used a wireless receiver along with a balloon that lifted an antenna high in the air to transmit the first radio signals across the Atlantic Ocean. It took about 30 minutes for Marconi's Morse code signals to travel from Cornwall, England to a receiver in Newfoundland, Canada.
