In 1880, a farmer named Wilson "Snowflake" Bentley bought a microscope. He wanted to look at snowflakes. He was amazed by what he saw, so he bought a camera. Over the next 40 years, he described over 80 different categories of snowflakes.

In all his years of searching, Snowflake Bentley never found two identical snowflakes!
