All in the Family
Think of your family or another family you know well. Try to pick one with grandparents, parents, and children. Do the people in the family look like one another? If possible, look at the photographs to see what the older generations looked like when they were your age.
Then think of how traits are passed on from one generation to the another. Describe each member of the family-hair color, eye color, height, body type, hand and foot size, earlobes, and so on. Then make connections between the particular traits of one of the children (maybe you!) and the parent or grandparent from whom those traits might have been inherited.
