What would a person living in the Stone Age have seen?

Scientists study fossils to learn about plants and animals that lived long ago. They also use bone, teeth, shells, and other hard body parts that have lasted through the centuries. But these only help a little. It's hard to guess the appearance of an animal that has been extinct for a long time from just these parts. There are many questions left unanswered. What color was the animal? Did it have markings? How did it move? Did it run in packs? What did it like to eat?
